OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certification is a legal and retail compliance requirement for stuffed toys and children’s soft products in every major consumer market. Machine filling vs hand filling: commercial plush toy production typically uses pneumatic injection filling — fiber blown into the toy through a nozzle. HCS siliconized fiber flows smoothly through injection nozzles. Non-siliconized fill clogs. For very small toys below 15cm where injection is geometrically impossible, hand filling is used. OEKO-TEX Class I remains mandatory regardless of filling method.
